Community Meeting Notice - Revised Development Proposal - Councillor Sandra Bussin will hold a community meeting for residents of the Neville Park Boulevard and Munro Park Avenue neighbourhoods regarding the potential redevelopment of properties at the south-west end of Neville Park Boulevard on Lake Front. The City of Toronto Urban Development Services Department has received a revised development proposal for 2 & 4 Neville and addresses on Lake Front as a follow-up to previous community meetings and discussions with the developer. The meeting will be attended by Councillor Bussin, City of Toronto Area Planner, Tine Major, and representatives of the developer. A presentation of the revised development proposal will be made, followed by a discussion to determine next steps. Frank Domagala, a lifelong beach resident who is the Director of the Beaches Recreation Centre, has volunteered to Chair the meeting. Dermott Sweeny, the architect and developer will present the proposed development and will be available to answer questions. Fundraising
We need people with prior experience in leading or assisting at fundraising events to help develop events that will raise money for our cause. The monies raised will be used to obtain professional services to help us oppose the proposed condominium development. Print and post or deliver flyers
We need volunteers to deliver flyers about the BLNA door to door in the neighbourhood and talk to friends and neighbours about this important cause.
